At 19 he started a bicycle trip through Spain, Southern France and Italy finaly stopping in Bolzano (south Tirol), where he spent half of his time until he was 25. During this time he meet Victor Zuazola, Dora Salazar, Marzio Giotto, Gilberto Zorio and other artists. Gilberto Zorio made him see the worth of his scultures, so he continued to make sculptures as a hobby until 2005, when he decided to take it up seriously. From an early age he found surrealism interesting, so his art work mostly lies in the conseptual realm.
